ABOUT ME

I discovered the magic of clay the first time at the age of 8, and all its therapeutic powers that it unfolds.  In my late twenties I was lucky to return to clay with my studies at Front Range Community College in Colorado,USA.  I immediately fell in love with clay again, and all the struggles and calm it provokes.  At Metropolitan State University of Denver, Colorado I continued my ceramic studies and received my Fine Arts Degree specializing in Ceramics and Art Therapy.  With my Teacher”s Degree I was able to teach at Yangon International School in Myanmar, which allowed my amazing travels in Asia and viewing ceramics from Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia and many more places. I am so excited to be part of the Imibala team in Somerset West and ready to share all my experiences and knowledge and to resettle in Sunny South Africa.

VOLUNTEERING AT IMIBALA TRUST
